Latest Flooring trends for luxury vinyl flooring

While all vinyl, including luxury and sheet, is a trend in and of itself, it also follows the style of the wood, stone, and tile imitations it offers. There's something for every decor with assorted colors and patterns, from traditional to mid-century, art deco, transitional, contemporary, California coastal, urban modern, and more. Let's break it all down.

Wood
We can hardly keep up with the demand for luxury vinyl plank cut into strips and mounted on boards to mimic hardwood. Since the images are taken with high-definition photography, they'll be clear and vibrant with knots, grains, swirls, etc. LVP also has textured looks, such as wire-brushed, hand scraped, weathered and distressed, and various plank sizes and colors ranging from light to medium and dark tones.

Stone
Turn your bathroom into an upscale wellness center with a marble floor and patterned tiles on the wall (the material is 100% waterproof, so it works well on walls, too). If you want a different stone look, know that you can also get granite, quartz, limestone, terrazzo, travertine.

Ceramic tile-sized squares
This is called luxury vinyl tile or LVT. Right now, significant, bold patterns, such as hexagons, circles, triangles and chevrons, herringbone, and geometric patterns are all the rage. So is biophilia, a trend that reminds us of nature, with colors in every shade of green and patterns such as foliage, fauna, and flora.

The tile pieces can be mixed and matched, so you're only limited by your imagination! Besides the style, luxury vinyl (whichever form you choose) is 100% waterproof, durable, low maintenance, and has an easy installation, especially when it's a floating floor that is clicked, mat, and hover.
